Saparya 2025
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi, in collaboration with SPIC MACAY, organized SAPARYA 2025, a six-day school-intensive program titled "A Journey Through Indian Art and Culture", hosted by Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor from March 24, 2025.
The event was inaugurated by renowned Carnatic vocalist Dr. Sreevalsan J Menon, with CA Venugopal C. Govind, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi, presiding. The ceremony began with a prayer by Shri Eloor Biju, followed by a welcome address by Principal Smt. Parvathy E, and opening remarks by Shri E. Ramankutty, Director of BVB Kochi. Felicitations were offered by Shri K. Suresh and Smt. Meena Viswanathan, while Shri Unni Varier provided an overview of the program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. Gaya Lakshmi. SAPARYA 2025 aims to immerse students in the richness of Indian art and cultural heritage.
The Valedictory Ceremony of SAPARYA 2025 took place on Saturday, 29 March 2025, marking the conclusion of the six-day cultural programme. The event featured an exhibition of artefacts and drawings, along with music and dance performances by students, showcasing their learning and creativity. Smt. Manjusha J. delivered the welcome address, followed by the honouring of resource persons by Shri E. Ramankutty and Smt. Meena Viswanathan. Felicitations were offered by Shri C. S. Panchamakesan, Shri Sreekant Krishnan, and Shri Deepak K. R. Resource persons and participants shared their feedback, and certificates were distributed. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. Kala S. Pillai and the National Anthem, marking a meaningful end to the programme.
