Onam 2024
Our school celebrated Onam, the festival symbolising happiness, peace, and prosperity, with great enthusiasm. The day was filled with a series of vibrant programs that beautifully captured the essence of this traditional festival. Students and teachers adorned traditional attire, adding to the festive spirit. A striking highlight of the celebration was the intricate floral carpet (pookkalam) displayed at both the school entrance and in the primary block, crafted from flowers nurtured in our school garden. This garden, lovingly maintained by students over the past months in preparation for Onam, was a collaborative effort supported by the PTA, making the pookkalam a true symbol of community involvement. The celebration featured captivating performances of traditional songs and dances such as Thiruvathirakali, Vanjipattu, and Pulikali, showcasing the extraordinary talents of our students. Adding to the excitement, students dressed as Mahabali and Vamanan brought the legends of Onam to life. The event was a joyous reflection of the unity and cultural vibrancy of our school community
