Van Mahotsav Celebration 2024-25
Van Mahotsav, also known as the Festival of Trees, an annual tree-planting movement in India that aims to create awareness about the importance of trees and encourage people to plant more of them,was started in 1950 by K.M. Munshi, to create enthusiasm among masses for forest conservation and planting trees.The VAN MAHOTSAV programme in our school,commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an enlightening speech by the chief guest Shri Sanjayan S, an air force veteran, presently working as the Assistant General Manager with Dhathri Ayurveda Pvt Ltd and also the State Vice President of Akhil Bharathiya Purva Sainik Seva
Parishat. Students from standards VII to X then presented a melodious Vanmahotsav song, followed by an energetic dance performance by students from standard IX C. Ananya Sunil, a student from standard XII D, delivered an insightful speech on the significance of Vanmahotsav. Siddharth Harikumar , from standard XII D, expressed gratitude through the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the rendition of the national anthem. Students of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor conducted their first yoga session for the academic year 2024-25 at RLV School, Tripunithura, as part of the Young Indians Thalir initiative
